Oliver modestly claimed that he taught me nothing - but his vast knowledge and insight supported, steered, facilitated the change I desperately sought in my work. In the safe space his studio provided I could play and experiment in my journey away from the reportage watercolour and monoscreenprints I had exhibited hitherto, towards the collage and abstract oil paintings which still remain the focus of my work. | ||
